The New Arc Wildlife Rescue
New Arc Wildlife Rescue is the largest wildlife rescue centre in the North-East of Scotland. We are an independent Charity (SC037332), based just outside of Ellon, Aberdeenshire, and we take in large numbers of orphaned or injured wildlife every year from all over the North-East of Scotland. Please note we are not open to the public for visits, as a wildlife rescue facility our wildlife casualties are highly stressed, and need a calm and quiet environment. We are only open to recieve wildlife casualties from the public.
Since we were established in 2006 we have rescued and rehabilitated over 16,000 animals and birds. We are an associate member of the British Wildlife Rehabilitation Council, and work closely with local and national Government, as well as other stakeholders such as veterinary professionals.
New Arc Wildlife Rescue operates a 24/7, 365 days per year service for wildlife emergencies, and is also available within opening times for non-emergencies, general wildlife advice and non-critical admissions.
Please DO NOT bring any animals to the centre without calling us first on 01358701723 as we may need to prepare for the animal or can advise you of an alternative option if that would be better for the animal, such as a nearer centre or veterinary practice. Sometimes animals which appear to need help are in fact fine, and we can give advice in these circumstances to avoid taking an animal from the wild unnecessarily
New Arc Wildlife Rescue is a licenced Animal Welfare Establishment. Licence number ABS-DWAWE-0001-2023. Licence holder is Paul Michael Reynolds. Licencing authority is Aberdeenshire Council.
